I must begin by admitting that I have never blogged before, so this will be a new and exciting experience for me. As an aspiring author, I feel this could be a good chance, if nothing else, to get feedback on possible ideas for books and on works I have already written. That being said, I will make a point to be clear when I'm posting something that actually happened to me, and when my post is a work of fiction.
As I don't currently have any pieces of writing which I wish to share, I would just like to mention my progress on a reading challenge which I am participating in. The challenge is to read all 56 of the original yellow hardback Nancy Drew books during the year 2010 (a perfect year for this challenge, as April 28 marked the 80th anniversary of Nancy Drew), and I am completing this challenge well within the time I'd hoped. As of today (June 2) I began book #32 of 56, and I have a stack from the library which will take me up to book #56.
I don't really have anything else at the moment, so I will end this post. I am off to curl up in a comfy chair and read!
